On 1st July 2021, Provecta Process Automation (“Provecta”) announced a change in management.
Mr Anthony (Tony) Buncombe who has guided Provecta for the last 3 years has stepped down from his role as Managing Director of the electrical engineering and consulting company. Tony has decided to retire after an engineering career that spanned almost 40 years including the last 18 years working with Provecta, initially as Engineering Manager before moving into the Managing Director role. We thank Tony for his significant contribution to Provecta and wish him a long and happy retirement.
Mr Phillip Walsh (shown opposite), who is a founding Director, and has worked as a Principal Engineer with Provecta for the last 18 years, will move into the Managing Director role. Phil will be supported by Mr David Parslow who will continue as Operations / Engineering Manager, and Mr Andrew Oates as the Director – Business Development.
When asked about his new role, Mr Walsh said:
“I look forward to the many challenges of filling Tony’s shoes and working with and leading the very capable team at Provecta, as well as continuing and developing our relationships with existing and new clients. I am also enthusiastic about the opportunities for Provecta to utilise its wide-ranging controls and operational technology engineering experience to assist our clients and society transition to a new energy environment.”
