Engineers, Anne Chu and Daniel Parker, have recently and successfully completed the requirements to be recognised as Schneider Electric PlantStruxureTM Certified Engineers. Anne’s certification was recently presented to her by Schneider Electric’s Channel Partner for NSW/ACT, Mr Jorg Lange. These achievements by Anne and Dan complement the equivalent certifications held by other Provecta engineers, Gareth Walsh and Aaron Woodward. The Schneider Electric PlantStruxureTM Certified Engineer Program (CEP) is an Alliance Partnership initiative which allows Schneider Electric to formally endorse the skill sets of its Alliance Partners in the integration of automation projects using Schneider Electric technology. The Schneider Electric CEP certification requires the passing of challenging 45-minute exams on all of the following modules:
- Architectures and Networking
- Unity Pro and PLC Platforms
- Vijeo Citect SCADA Platforms
- Engineering Tools –Unity Application Generator (UAG) / Sg2
These exams validate the participants’ ability to demonstrate their knowledge and practical experience in a broad range of components and technologies relevant to the modern industrial automation and energy management needs. They focus on the advanced architectural and connectivity aspects of PlantStruxureTM which institute the integral core of any collaborative system. As a Schneider Electric Alliance Partner Integrator since 2004 and Platinum Partner since 2012, Provecta has long been an active participant in the Certified Engineer Program. The latest certifications not only reinforce Provecta’s firm grasp on the current automation technology, it affirms our commitment to continuous development and the Alliance Partnership with Schneider Electric.
