Provecta has signed a 5-year engineering services agreement with AGL Macquarie for the provision of control system engineering support to AGL Macquarie’s Liddell and Bayswater Power Stations, Antiene and Newdell Rail Unloaders, Hunter Valley Gas Turbines and Barnard River Pumping Scheme.
The contract extends Provecta’s long term relationship with AGL Macquarie that started under Macquarie Generation over 14 years ago.
Under the agreement, Provecta will continue to provide a range of engineering services including support of the control systems including the Yokogawa DCS, CitectSCADA and OSIsoft PI systems as well as the associated Operational Technology (OT) environment.
In addition to support services, Provecta will use its expertise in the power generation industry to undertake engineering investigations, plant process improvements, functional safety analysis and hazardous area assessment and compliance for the sites.
The agreement includes provision of Owner’s Engineer services to AGL Macquarie for the Bayswater Power Station Control System Upgrade currently being delivered by Siemens Ltd.
