At a gala black tie presentation dinner on the 8th July 2005, PROVECTA were announced as the winner of the 2005 Telstra New South Wales Small Business Awards in the MYOB category for businesses between 5 and 20 employees. The Telstra Small Business Awards are “the premier national Awards program designed to celebrate and showcase the achievements of Australia’s dynamic small business sector”.  The awards are open to small businesses of all disciplines throughout Australia and over 4200 national submissions were received for this year’s awards. The awards were attended by the new Telstra Chief Executive Officer, Sol Trujillo.  Mr Trujillo noted that “these Awards have provided an insight into the extraordinary qualities that distinguish Australian small businesses.  It is an honour for me to be part of this program that celebrates some truly amazing businesses.” The award is a worthy recognition of the efforts put in by PROVECTA’s extremely talented and dedicated people.  Andrew Oates, PROVECTA’s Managing Director, sees this award as “a substantial platform on which PROVECTA can continue to realise our goal to further grow our business of providing expert Australian engineering in the specialised field of process automation and control systems.” Click here to see the other Telstra Small Business Award winners.
