David graduated with honors in Electrical Engineering from the University of Sydney in 1991. He began his career in high voltage transmission network protection design. In 1993, he transitioned to process control systems, spending four years as an on-site control systems engineer at Wallerawang Power Station.
With over 30 years of experience, David has extensive expertise in process control system design, installation, and commissioning across various PLC, RTU, SCADA, and DCS equipment.
As the Engineering & Operations Manager at Provecta, David oversees project delivery, staff development, and resource allocation. He also provides project management support and advice to project managers.
David earned his Masters of Engineering Management from the University of Technology, Sydney, in 1997. He specializes in managing and delivering process control system projects, from small upgrades to large multi-million dollar greenfield and brownfield projects. David offers consultancy services, including alarm management, concept design, due diligence, specification writing, and budget estimation. He is also an accomplished trainer, having developed and delivered control system training courses for clients in Australia, Japan, Malaysia, and the UAE.
