Michael graduated in 2004 from the University of New South Wales with honours in electrical engineering and a masters in biomedical engineering, and shortly after commenced his career with Provecta. Michael has over twelve years’ experience in all phases of the design, implementation and commissioning of process control systems, instrumentation, and electrical systems in the energy and water treatment industries, and with a range of vendor’s equipment. Michael has demonstrated expertise in the engineering and delivery of control and instrumentation projects from concept to completion including detailed design, application software development, testing, commissioning, and tuning; and in a variety of roles including Project and Design Management.
Michael is also skilled in conducting technical investigations and preparing technical documentation including operation and maintenance manuals, control philosophy documents, engineering workscopes, and commissioning checksheets, and applying quality assurance principles to control and instrumentation projects. Michael is an accredited functional safety engineer (FS Eng TÜV Rheinland) and is able to draw on his experience and expertise to provide consultancy services to his clients in this area.
